Lesson: History

Class: Year 6 Year: 2016 - 2017

The Year 6 children have been studying the Victorian era this term. As part of their topic work they visited Central Library for special workshops about Victorian fashion and what a typical street scene would have looked like during the 19th Century. They were given a guided tour around Manchester and learnt about how its population, symbolised by the working bee, were vital for growth during the Industrial Revolution. Take a look at our photos of this fantastic educational visit.
